Gems Of War Map

Renown. Renown is a new rating tied to Factions. There are 2 types of Renown:Faction Renown – which represents your exploits within a Faction. Chaos Portals. Chaos Portals are similar to Chests, as opening a Chaos Portal will reward you with one of a Faction’s Troops or Treasures.

Each faction has its own Chaos Portal which can be opened with Chaos Shards. Chaos Shards are earned from Delves and Faction Events.

Treasure Hunt is a mini game unlocked by completing all the Quests in Zhul'Kari. The standard board of gems is replaced by a board of treasure - the objective is to play for as many turns as possible and convert your treasure into better loot. In order to play Treasure Hunt, a Treasure Map must be consumed. How to collect Treasure Maps. Sep 4, 2018 - The Krystara Map has gained improvements, including: 3D elements, New Particle effects, Removal of the Fog of War (over locked kingdoms). Jul 28, 2018 - Really like the cute map. Aurorax July 28, 2018, 2:26pm #24. Actually after looking I want the gold and the gems:joy: I don't really.

Chaos Shards are not exclusive to a faction, so Chaos shards earned from Delves in one Faction can be used on a Chaos Portal in another faction. It cost 20 Chaos Shards to open a Chaos Portal. Chaos Shards (spent on Chaos Portals) are the only way (outside of a Faction Event Shop) to get Faction Troops and Treasures.

Treasure Hoards. Each Faction’s Treasure Hoard is upgraded using Treasures, which can be gained from Chaos Portals, and Gold.

Gems

There are two upgrades to your Treasure Hoard:- Level – Requires XP for each level (increasing amounts of XP are required per level). There is no level cap, however players only gain Faction Renown up to level 100.- Quality – Only has a chance to upgrade each time you add XP, though this chance can be increased by adding more treasures at once or treasures of higher rarities. Puzzle Game Changes We originally decreased mana gained from 100% to 70% back in 2015, due to the amount of mana gain from the spells was outscaling any other means to gain mana in the game and causing troops to be able to chain their spells. In the past few months, as Magic has continued to scale higher and higher, this same behaviour has reappeared, with some explosion spells being able to power up mythic troops in a single cast (from 0 mana). As such we have reviewed the mana gain from exploders and after a long experimental time, decided to reduce the mana gain down to 50%.

Mana gain from any gem cascade after an explosion will still get 100% of the mana (and it turns out that is often where half of your mana comes from). With Doomstorm, we found that once triggered the number of doomskulls dropping would heavily tip the game in the favour whoever was winning, with little chance for their opponent to counter it. We’ve decided to tone it down a bit, so it’s not quite as deadly and allows some room for opponents to come back. Mana gain from Explosions has been reduced from 70% to 50%. Doomstorms now have a slightly lower chance to spawn Doomskulls onto the board. General. Guild Seals will now display in the Inventory screen of the Hero Menu with the other collectible resources.

A new Gnome, the Soul Gnome, will now start appearing in PVP, Explore, and Quests- He will only reward Souls or Vault Keys, however he has a higher chance of a Vault Key (compared to a Treasure Gnome)- He won’t affect the chance of encountering a Pet Gnome in PVP- Players will have the chance to earn him from Gnome Vaults, like other Gnomes. New Shop Items. We have added 3 new items to the Shop.

Path to Power I & II will give Ingots over a set number of days.

At the start of every “PvP” match you are told what kingdom your opponent is defending. Knowing the mana bonus ahead of time can help you to deny an opponent’s better color(s).Adana: Red YellowBroken Spire: Blue BrownDivinion Fields: Purple YellowForest of Thorns: 2 GreenGhulvania: Purple RedKarakoth: 2 PurpleKhaziel: 2 BrownKhetar: Blue PurpleMist of Scales: Blue RedPan’s Vale: Green YellowPridelands: 2 RedStormheim: 2 BlueSword’s Edge: Blue YellowWhitehelm: 2 YellowZaejin: Brown GreenZhul’Kari: Green PurpleMissing Color Combinations:Blue GreenBrown PurpleBrown RedBrown YellowGreen RedCurrently, mana bonuses are not affected by mana surge and are only added to the final amount. This means something like a 5x red surge with Mist of Scales as home kingdom for red and blue will give 11 mana, not 12. Knowing the mana each unit needs in relation to this is very helpful in every match.Formula is:(Amount of gems in move. 2(if surge)) + kingdom bonusMana surge chance is based on a combination of what color is picked every level and what bonus is gained from being in a guild.

The total number and exact percent can be found on your hero page, so no in game calculation needed. If you want to plan a long term outlook, the formula is:Mana/(Mana+100)i.e. 50 in any color would be 33% surge chance. Gems Of War Guide

This means you will have a tribute chance once when you log in and every seubsequent hour from your last collection. In theory, it is possible to trigger 24 tribute chances per day. This is balanced by the fact that you are more likely to be invaded if you don't take your gold and tribute chances, allowing for defend resources to accumulate.
